Open document tabs reshuffle when closing and opening additional document

I opened 12 documents, numbered xxx_1 - xxx_12. They opened in a slightly arbitrary order (not 1-12) so I re-ordered the tabs.

If I open any additional files after reordering, all the tabs revert to the original order they were in when they were first all opened as a group.

This reordering issue on opening docs/creating new files has been previously logged with the developers, I'll update the existing report to reflect that it still affects the current version and bump it with your report.

Nathan, do you happen to know whether any future fix for this reported bug will also prevent the arbitrary disorder of opened files? It would help the workflow if they always open reliably in alpha-numeric order.

Yep, there's a separate improvement logged internally with the devs for the tab load order to be sequential, i'll bump it with your report.

Do you have any news? This issue is quite confusing and affecting my workflow. I guess I'm not the only one.
