Inka Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Hello, I use publisher in the latest versions on my iPad and on my Mac. Unfortunately, I cannot open files created on the iPad on the Mac and get a message saying that the file was created with a newer version than the one installed and therefore cannot be opened. I also tried it as a package to be on the safe side. I assumed the files were compatible - am I doing something wrong or is editing on both iPad and Mac technically not possible? I would be grateful for an answer, best regards! Quote
Hangman Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 Hi @Inka and welcome to the forums, You will need to ensure you're running the same version of Publisher on both the iPad and Mac as the files are not backwards compatible but when doing so, yes, the files are compatible between all platforms, iPad, Mac and Windows...
