jengrant Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 I use a MacBook Air M2, my Affinity Photo 2 version is 2.3.0, just updated. If I have AP2 open in my dock and I want to open an existing photo on my desktop by right clicking on 'open with' Affinity Photo 2, the photo won't open. First I need to quit AP2, then I can 'open with AP2'. It's been happening for a month or two. It's a PITA... Quote

Staff Affinity Info Bot Posted November 21, 2023 Staff Posted November 21, 2023 The issue "macOS Main Window fails to re-appear when reopening documents via dragging over dock icon or open via double click" (REF: AF-989) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2150". This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release. Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions. If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us. Quote
