Margarite Hamilton Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Hello I hope everyone is having a nice day! After four hours I need help from the Affinty Designer iPad 1. How do I get the black and white shapes to take on the look of the colored shapes? An example would be taking the rectangular black-and-white shape and turning it into a diamond shape or taking this black-and-white circular shape and making it have the rectangle appearance of the cream colored shape. NotMyFault Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Hi and welcome to the forum. unsure if I fully understand what you want to achieve. Do you want to use the b/w ornaments from the circles, and apply them to the edges of the other shapes? NotMyFault Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 Do you use Photo or Designer? Do you need the result as vector shape or bitmap/ raster exports? NotMyFault Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 In Designer, I would create own brushes from the ornaments, and apply them as stroke to the vector shapes. The pearls can be created from scratch. For the floral pattern, I would use Photo and polar to rectangular filter, or just recreate it from scratch which takes only a few minutes. Margarite Hamilton Posted November 12, 2023 Author Posted November 12, 2023 Thank you very much – – I never thought about creating a brush. I use affinity designer, not affinity photo.. I’ve never created a brush with a design. Is there a video I could watch. Quote
