Nick B
Recently I have been using Vertorizer.ai to help change images from bitmaps etc to vector. Once converted I was able to bring them into Affinity Designer and double click them and they would open up as they're various layers. This was working this Thursday. However on Friday this feature has stopped working in Affinity Designer and you can no longer expand the files out. I have not made any changes to my iMac or Affinity Designer, I am currently running version 2.2.1. Any help welcomed as it saved a lot of time drawing from scratch as I could scan an image in and then use Vertorizer.ai to turn it into an SVG file and then open them and alter in Affinity Designer. Thanks, Nick

Open should work. Place may depend in other aspects of what you're doing. Please clarify exactly what you're doing, and what file-type your working with. And if you're using Place, are you using Embedded or Linked files? PS: welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Nick B
Walt, Thank you that seems to have fixed the problem to open it separately and then copy it rather than place it. Really appreciate your help, Nick walt.farrell
