Kieren McCarthy Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Using 2.2.1 on MacOS. Can’t find Live Filters. Want to add noise to a layer but literally cannot find the Live Filters. I’ve search on the forums and screengrabs keep pointing to an option that does not exist for me. Used Help function and nothing. My screengrabs attached. Help appreciated. Quote
walt.farrell Posted November 1, 2023 Posted November 1, 2023 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Live Filters are a function of Photo and also of the Photo Persona in Publisher. There you'll find them via Layer > New Live Filter Layer or the icon at the bottom of the Layers panel. Kieren McCarthy Posted November 2, 2023 Author Posted November 2, 2023 Are you saying that the filter function is in a different piece of Affinity software, not in Affinity Publisher but Affinity Photo? Quote
GarryP Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 Yes, Live Filters (and non-live Filters) are part of Photo not Publisher, although there are a limited number of them in the Pixel Persona of Designer. (If you have both Publisher and Photo then you can access them via the Photo Persona of Publisher.) Quote
