Importing GIMP files

Hello,

I'm new on Mac and Affinity Photo.

 

I worked for years with Linux and GIMP.

 

Now I have several .xcf files, and I want use them with Photo.

 

I thought to convert these files in .psd format from GIMP and import them in Photo.

 

Is this the correct way or there is another better?

Hi Marzio,

I don't have GIMP installed but exporting as PSD and importing into Affinity should at least keep the layers intact.

You may also try exporting from GIMP as PDF.
