Affinity Photo V2 selects wrong Lens for RF 24mm

The application selects Tokina 28-70mm F/2.8 AT-X Lens for the Canon RF 24mm F1.8 MACRO IS STM lens when developing the RAW file.    Lensfun is in he process of adding the RF 24 lens currently.  Due to the current bug in regards to Somona and Lens Profiles I am unable to validate the RF 24MM lensfun fixes any further.   

This selecting teh Tonkia for the RF 24mm also happened before I updated to Samona but Lensfun did not have info for RF24MM.  Still something in the EXIF is tripping up the selection process for the RF24mm

Macbook Pro M1 running macOS Sonoma 14.0 (23A344)

Canon RF 24mm F1.8 MACRO IS STM LENS

Canon R7 Camera Body (should not matter)

Screen shot, Raw File and EXIF dump of Raw File are attachments for the development/test team use.  No other use given.

After updating my lens profiles folder with the latest XML's from The Lensfun github page I can confirm that the RF 24mm F1.8 MACRO IS STM lens profile has since been added and is available for manual selection in the lens correction tab (Not on Sonoma due currently to the lens profile outstanding bug). However, I can see that the assistant auto correct option is incorrectly setting the Tokina lens profile as you've described so I've now logged this with the developers.

Edit: The Sonoma lens manual correction bug has been fixed in the 2.3 beta (AF-513) if you want to try downloading the beta so you're able to then select the correct profile again, just be sure to re-import the latest XML files from LensFun into the Beta version's lens profiles folder.

The issue "Canon EOS R7 + Canon RF 24mm F1.8 Lens incorrectly being identified as Tokina 28-70m lens despite being correct in EXIF data" (REF: AF-900) has been fixed by the developers in the latest beta build (2.6.0.2861). The fix is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
