Gianni Becattini
This is the window of Apub. Note the page numbers: 427, 428 (not shown), 429, 430: This is the produced pdf file. Note that we jump to 437 without any visible reason. This seems to happen without a logic. Page numbers seem to jump backward and forward, even from an export to another. Is it my fault or a bug? walt.farrell
What does the Section Manager show, and if you're using a Book file what does the Book panel show? Gianni Becattini
They are crazy and change. For example, I noted this strange situation on the fourth file after Update Page Numbers (the numbers start even and finish even - impossible!) It was enough to open the file, and they immediately changed: Quote More than 30 Macs, from 1984 Mac 512K Plus to 2020 iMac 27" i9
walt.farrell
When you did the Export that had the odd numbers, were you exporting the entire project (from the Book panel menu) or just the one chapter .afpub file via File > Export? Are there Sections in CH7, and what does the Section Manager show there? Gianni Becattini
Congratulations, Walt, you won! Almost every chapter developed a second section with "start from page" option. Don't ask me why, certainly I didn't create them. But having removed them, things seem again in the right direction. By the way, I believe I find often chapters which changed from "continue numbering" to "start from". But the important is that I am again in the race... thanks! walt.farrell 1 Quote More than 30 Macs, from 1984 Mac 512K Plus to 2020 iMac 27" i9
