Export settings log

Recommended Posts

I am not a professional and therefore I am not fully familiar with all the export settings (mostly color profiles etc). My problem is, that after several days I don't remember what were the settings I have used and many times I have to modify text and export again - and I have no idea what the goog setting was (from which I do have testprint for example)

My proposal is to make a ticker in export and together with a file to make a textlog file with settings listed.

For example if the file was exported in CMYK or RGB, if ICC profile was applied, resolution, if texts were converted to curves...

It would be a big help mostly for people who are not exporting the data everyday.

Thank you!

You can create your own Export presets, you can re-use. This is done in the Export dialogue.

Thank you, that s partially an option, but when searching the optimal option it is probably not the optimal way. Also in long term (for example when when switching to another software version) in does not necessarily stays intact.
