Chracter formatting

Recommended Posts

I  looked in the help 'Character formatting' > 'Spacing' but could not find it in the 'Character' panel. I want to close up the default spacing of a particular font. Where do I find how to do this?

In the Character panel, expand Positioning and Transform and then use the Tracking field.

  • "Tracking—controls the spacing between characters. This setting is expressed in permilles, i.e. thousanths of an em space."
