You can import text styles from an existing afpub file with the Text Styles panel's menu. Those are bitmap based styles for the Affinity APub/ADe/APh Styles panel, which then can be applied to fill artistic text and other shape/vector objects etc. You would import those into the Styles panel and apply them from there on above said objects. Thank you all for your help I was confused about that the first day I used Publisher, too. I really wish Styles could be renamed to Object Styles to avoid confusion.
