smartyarts
Dear fellow Affinity users, I have a wallpaper png file and when I open it in Affinity Photo 2.2 the colors appear to be washed out or less saturated than they appear on my desktop. I have attached a screenshot that shows the difference. I have already searched in the forum if anyone had the same issue, but the answers would not help me to find a solution for my problem. When I open the same png file in Photoshop the colors do not wash out and they look identical as seen on my desktop. Thanks in advance for any help on this! kind regards Marcin
Staff Callum Posted September 22, 2023 Staff Share Posted September 22, 2023 Hi Smartyarts, Its likely that you have a monitor profile etc applied to your desktop that isn't applied in Affinity causing the colour difference. I would recommend experimenting with the different colour spaces / profiles found within Affinity and you should be able to find one that matches how the image looks on your desktop.
