Nadar
Hi 😀 I have a JPEG file with a checkerboard background around the main image. This file is in the Photos app on my iPad. I can import it into a PDF application (PDF Expert) but I can't modify the imported image in this app. Could the transparent background (checkerboard) explain this problem ? If so, how can I transform this file ? Could someone advise me? Thanks Quote Ipad Affinity Photo

Unfortunately I don't understand how your question relates to the Affinity app. A JPEG file is simply a container for Pixel data, the data itself (such as a checkerboard pattern) would not affect the 'editability' of the file. Equally a JPEG does not support transparency, therefore this will simply be a checkerboard pattern and not an actual transparent area within the image. 9 hours ago, Nadar said: If so, how can I transform this file ? Have you tried opening the JPEG within Affinity directly for editing?
