Ezekiel Johari
I found a bug in Affinity Designer on Windows. When I open the studio menu and select "assets studio," the program suddenly crashes. How can I fix this issue
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Do you have other Affinity V2 applications, and if so do they have the same problem? If so, this may indicate that your Assets are corrupted. In that case I would suggest that you: Create a copy of the assets.propcol file for diagnostic purposes; then Reset the Assets. For step 1 we'll need to know whether you installed using the MSIX version of the installer, or the EXE version of the installer. Then we can say where the file is located. To perform step 2, you will make sure that no Affinity V2 applications are running, then you will start Designer while pressing the Ctrl key. You'll get a dialog to clear user data, though you may need to watch for the application icon on the Windows Task Bar and click it to expose the dialog. You would then uncheck the first 3 boxes, and check Reset Assets. Then click the Reset button. Then, after step 2, you will need to reinstall any Assets that you have created manually or installed from other sources.
