How to set background color of a text frame on Affinity Photo v2 on iPad?

Hey folks, I've now killed about 45 minutes of my time trying to find out how to set the background color of a text frame on Affinity Photo v2 on the iPad.

Can somebody help me figure out how to do this, please?

I haven't tried it recently but I believe you use the Text panel > Text Frame

That's Publisher. The topic is about Photo.

@dirtcat: Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. You can't set the background color of a text frame in Photo or Designer; only in Publisher.

• If you need a background color, you can create a rectangle of the proper size, set its Fill, and group it with the Text Frame so they move together.
• If you need to remove a background color, say from text you pasted from another application, try the Document menu, Defaults > Revert.
