unable to open document v2

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have the complete suite 2 package, today I noticed that documents created with affinity.photo cannot be opened with affinity.designer or affinity.publisher (and vice versa), and I get the error: "the file includes features from a later version of affinity", despite using the updated suite for everyone.

I would like to know how to fix this because in version 1 this didn't happen.

Thanks

Daniela

Hi Please could you provide screenshots showing the version number of each of the Affinity apps you are using? If you they are all 2.1 please could you provide a copy of the file in question so I can look into this further with you?

Thanks

Grazie

HI @Callum
I noticed that the suites don't all have the same version:
publishers 2 2.1.1
designers 2 2.1.1
photo 2 2.2.0

Let me know how I can share a file with you in private mode.

Hi Dcalore,

It looks as though you may have been caught out by the update we mistakenly pushed a little while ago. Please take a read through the following page for more information

You will likely need to install the beta as that page suggests in order to keep using your file.

Thanks
