Export to PDF with embedded graphics and fonts

Hello! I don't normally work in creating graphics for print, but one of my clients has requested a print ad. The information from the newspaper says:

 

All ads MUST be submitted in Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format). All fonts and graphics must be embedded.

 

Can I do this with Affinity Designer? Are fonts and graphics embedded by default or is there something I must do to make this happen?

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Yes, you can do it in Affinity Designer. Both images and text are embedded by default.

You can control all those options clicking on the More button on the PDF export dialog.

when i try and export out as pdf for print - it is extremely small. i open it with preview and it is NOT the dimensions that i export - i cannot figure out what is wrong. - please help it is iTIME sensitive.

Welcome. If you change the document units to centimetres, you will see what happened. It is not easy to work with pixels if your work is for print.
