R C-R
Once I click on the search field in the Stock panel there does not seem to be a way to deselect that field, other than switching to some other panel if it is in a panel group & back again to it. I would like to be able to do that in the panel itself because I would like to use a single key (no modifier) keyboard shortcut to toggle on & off showing the Left Studio panel group in AD, where I prefer to group that panel with some others. Hope that makes sense. No there is no normal common way to leave the inside focus of that field (pressing Esc just clears it's contents ...). So there's no real way to leave it's focus other than what you've already said and tripple clicking on "Stock" (shrinking the panel group it's inside and expanding Stock again). The Stock panel itself is also lacking to have an own associated Panel Preferences menu.
