How to pin a frame to exterior/interior margin on a spread instead of left/right?

Recommended Posts

I have double master pages (spread) with linked text frames. Therein flows a long text, with text frames and image frames pinned in.

I'd like that some of these frames stick to – let's say – the interior margin (the sewing side of the binding), whatever page it sits in. But I can't find how to set this up?

I have looked into Document setup, Contextual toolbar, Constraints and Text frame panels,… I don't find where it is possible to choose external/internal references instead of left/right.

Must be obvious… but where?

Thank you, it seems I hadn't tested enough with Mirror facing pages on.

Honestly I still don't understand the "Of" parameter and its ideal settings

I presume that in certain circumstances, it can be handy to have the choice but many of the options seem to be generally equivalent.

Possibly they are meant for numerical positioning (+ "Preserve manual position" deactivated), or may be more relevant for floating inside.

Yes, having so many choices is one of Affinity apps quality, or caveat, depending how you look at.
