danilo
The first and second parts of my book are not numbered correctly. Multiple attempts to sync the numbering brought no results. Is this a bug by Publisher or why is it happening? I have created all pages correctly (Cover [ ][x] ... ).
MikeTO
Try this: From the Books panel menu, ensure that Update Numbers > Update Page Numbers Automatically is selected. Select the _Titel chapter in the Books panel - you don't have to open it. From the panel menu, choose Page Number Options... Change the starting page number from 64 to 1. That should have changed the starting page number for 01_Einleitung automatically from 71 to 8 since that chapter looks like it has continue numbering selected. Select the 02_Mittelalter chapter in the Books panel. From the panel menu, choose Page Number Options... Change it from Start Numbering from Page to Continue From Previous Chapter. That should fix all the chapters you've shown here. If it doesn't fix the problem, please let us know what happens and you might have to share your files with Serif for review. Good luck. danilo 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.5 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.5 for macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro)
danilo
Thank you! I follow your advice and now it works. Recently, not all chapters were correctly set to take over from the previous chapter. That wasn't clear to me, and I was able to line up the first page by moving it back and forth in the book.
