Ram & Cpu over usage after marge down image

Recommended Posts

Which APh Win version and did you repeatedly copy/pasted the merged down layer from/after 0:48 on? - If not, it looks like some memory allocation but afterwards not releasing memory. So there might be some memory deallocation bug.

@Zafizack I've gone through a similar workflow on a Windows system. When using Merge Down the CPU/memory usage will increase but only for a few seconds and then return to normal.

Can you confirm the spec of your system?

Do you know if Hardware Acceleration is enabled within the apps Settings > Performance? If it is, try disabling it and restarting the app and trying your workflow again as this can sometimes have an affect.
