Paul Mc Posted August 8, 2023 Posted August 8, 2023 I've just started AD tonight and was presented with this message but the version that downloads is 2.1.1 - is this just a WIP and I need to be patient? Also, please can the EXE version download the EXE version and not the MSIX version? If I then hit OK and run the program and select Check for Updates on the Help menu I see: Quote

Paul Mc Posted August 9, 2023 Author Posted August 9, 2023 Thanks @walt.farrell I missed this. It seems like it happened again yesterday. Quote
GarryP Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 You will keep getting the “New Version available” dialog until either: 1. You go through the instructions (in the linked thread) to stop it happening, or; 2. The update to 2.2.1 is pushed out to users and you perform that update. Quote
Paul Mc Posted August 9, 2023 Author Posted August 9, 2023 Thanks @GarryP Deleting the JSON files seems to have solved the notification problem. Quote
GarryP Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 Good to hear it worked. Hopefully 2.2.1 will be out sometime soon, so you will see the dialog again but it will be ‘for real’ this time. Quote
