Affinity Publisher 2.1.1 | MacOS Sonoma | Can't click anything..

Recommended Posts

Hi! I need some help as I can't use Publisher on my mac for some time now. I can open a document I worked with, however can't change any tools, tabs, only the options within the right tab that is open. The tools on the left and top of the screen work fine, I can also change personas and select elements on the document I work with.

Tried different versions, macOS is up to date with the latest beta. I know it may be because of the dev version of the system, however I'm not really sure as I can't see anyone having similar problems here..

Hi and welcome to the forums. Serif has stated that the public beta of macOS Sonoma is not supported with Affinity 2.1 so you'll need to restore your Mac to Ventura. The issues you are reporting are known issues.

Hi Mike, thanks! And thank you for clearing this out :)

Hi dwiniarski, I'm in the same boat but found a workaround for now. If you click on Window at the top and deselect and reselect the tab you want to use, that tab will then be selected and available for use. So, for example, if you need to use the layers tab but it's currently behind another tab, deselecting and reselecting it in the Windows menu will bring it to the front so you can use it. Hope that helps.

The issue "[macOS Sonoma] Unable to change Panel or Persona" (REF: AFB-7965) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.2.0.1925".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
