Pixel Mush
First new file on the new version of Affinity Designer. Worked on it for about 8 hours yesterday, wouldn't you know it; corrupted file. So awesome. Really brings a smile to my face to know I just paid for this slap. If anyone could help I would truly appreciate it. I know some smart guy is going to tell me I should of saved multiple versions, and yes I know. Thanks in advance. Pixel Mush
I got it to work by embedding the file into another file. Then copying what I need into a new file. One of the copied jpgs must be corrupting the file because when I copy them over to a new file it instantly corrupted the new file and closed. I'm not super sure what's happening but it does appear that I have retrieved my files even though the corruption is still occuring.
walt.farrell
That's the only method I can get anything out of your file, too. I can copy a bunch of the pieces, and create a new file. But trying to Save generates an "internal error" message. If I try to copy everything, and use New from Clipboard, many of the Image layers are empty or missing. Pixel Mush
I will look into that Red Sands, thank you. Walt.Farrell thanks for testing. I got the files I needed so I'm happy about that! But that is the first time I've run into the issue where copying images instantly corrupts a new file and crashes it. Weird.
