Hi,

I like to work with the Erase Brush tool ( I know I shouldn't) ... I use a great width with a hardness of let's say 90%.
Sometimes I have to do fine erase works so I have to diminish the width. What know is happening is that the hardness area also gets diminished so that the results of erasing looks different for each width (hopefully the image makes it clear!).

Is there a possibility without adjusting (make it bigger) the hardness seperatly so that the soft areas look similiar for a big width and a smaller width.

And if there is no possibility wouldn't that be a nice feature? A dynamic hardness?

Greetings

Oliver

Hi,

thanks for the reply ... but that was not what I meant.

Is there a dynamic/option which allows me to keep the area of the hardness although the width is changing. In the picture below the hardness area is 40 (mm I guess), but when I make the width smaller the area of the hardness also gets smaller (17) ... what I want is that the hardness area stays at 40.

There's no way that I'm aware of to do that. As you've seen, the Hardness is based on a Percentage of the Width. I think the Hardness would need to be in pixels like the width to do what you're wanting.
