jmlx93 Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 Hello, Today I launched Affinity Photo V2.1 in order to get the new update V2.1.1 and it crashed. Regards, Jean-Marc CrashReports.zip Quote
Staff Callum Posted June 22, 2023 Staff Posted June 22, 2023 Hi Jmlx93, Welcome to the forums Please could you try uninstalling the app and then redownloading the latest version from where you originally purchased? This should install the new update and hopefully solve this problem. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
jmlx93 Posted June 22, 2023 Author Posted June 22, 2023 I don't have the v2 binar any more; only the V2.1. I think the issue might come from the fact I first installed the V2 msi binary and after the exe binary. Quote

Remove/deinstall both (all their leftovers, but not your user app settings) and install the latest v2.1.1 one! - Further if you are used to system registry handlings (...aka if you are affine in how to inspect and check after app settings there), inspect the actual/latest Affinity Photo settings there for sureness too! jmlx93 Posted June 22, 2023 Author Posted June 22, 2023 I removed the V2.1 msi packages (exe binaries), and installed Photo v2.1.1 msix packages, and also Designer V2.1.1 and Publisher V2.1.1 ones. Waiting for the next release. Quote
