When trying to use my pencil tool for a more hand drawn effect, the nodes don’t connect when I stop and restart to draw a continuous flowing line. I’ve selected the sculpt mode to make sure the lines auto connect when I restart drawing and that is not working. What other setting do I need to select to ensure my nodes auto connect?

If you look at my screenshot you will see that my nodes are not connecting (I placed a red square to make it really clear what issue I’m pointing out) and I have turned that sculpt node on and off to see if it will work when I redraw multiple lines I wish would auto connect.

Please advise. Thank you.

It works for me.

From your screenshot, it doesn't seem like you're drawing from the end node (or start node). You can't just start anywhere; you need to start the new drawing on one of those two nodes to continue the line.
