I have the Affinity Designer version 2 on the iPad, and I was wondering what is the best way to draw fur on an animal such as a dog or cat. Is this best accomplished via the Pixel Persona or can this be done in the Designer Persona in a way that won't be "cartoony"? I have an example of something that I would like to accomplish as an attachment here. Any suggestions as to how to do this as well as tutorials, mentions of brush packs, etc., are welcome. PS: What I really want is to create an artistic rendering of an animal, so I don't want to make something that is too realistic like a photo, just nice artwork that is easily accomplished with brush strokes, akin to what I have shown in the attachment. NotMyFault Posted June 19, 2023 Posted June 19, 2023 You should first make a decision if you want to go vector or pixel. Both workflows totally differ, and provide different results. For realistic hair in vector format you need either huge ammounts of individual hairs (several thousands or tens of thousands). or stay with abstract hair.
