Slow load up since installing new Beta on Publisher

Recommended Posts

Installed the new beta yesterday and Publisher has started loading slowly and getting "not responding" when performing tasks. Beta 11sec to load, Release 38sec. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the msix version but still same on load up. Settings appear to be the same in Beta and Release versions, both using Hardware acceleration.

If you want any files please give location and I will send

Many things can cause slowdowns. Sordum has free, portable utilities that can help

Temp cleaner: run as administrator and check the bottom right corner of your screen when a small box will pop with the number of files and folders remove

https://www.sordum.org/9190/temp-cleaner-v1-3/

Clean your memory

https://www.sordum.org/9197/reduce-memory-v1-6/

All his stuff is good and will fill a need

Hope that helps. Remember they are PORTABLE and need no install

Mystery solved it was because I had the Assets panel open selecting an Icons package, which had quite a number of items. Selected a small Asset file and things back to normal
