  3. Can you reproduce it? Yes
  4. (if you cannot then we may struggle to also, making it even harder to fix)
  5. Does it happen for a new document? If not can you upload a document that shows the problem? Yes
  6. If you cannot provide a sample document then please give an accurate description of the problem for example it should include most of the following:

When I load this image into a new Affinity Photo file, the transparency/alpha is just fine. However the moment I reload or reopen the file, the top part (skylight) just has wrong transparency. This happens not just within the program, but when I export as JPG or some other file format as well.

Hi @leeetthad,

Can you let me know the exact steps you are taking and which version of MacOS?  I've placed the attached .afphoto file into a new file, saved it and re-opened and its fine.  Exported to JPG and open that, again its fine.
