Once I am in pixel persona it will not make any difference if I double click to open the brush edit option, or right click and select edit brush, everything freezes, once I wait and then click a second time it crashes every time.

No matter the brush selected, no matter how I set up the work file, once in pixel persona and attempt to open the option to edit brush, crash....

I am using a brand new system, never until today experienced this kind of issue, it is happening no matter what I am trying to set up.

My settings have been set to send Serif an error message, so you should have a few automated messages already.

I use Affinity Designer V2 very often, and right now starting to feel niggled it won't edit brushes.

Hi @Sharkatana,

Sorry to hear that, this could indicate there's a problem with your local brushes file. I would initially suggest factory resetting the local brushes file to default within the app by following the below (Note, this will default both vector and pixel brushes across all three apps):

  1. Close down all affinity apps
  2. Hold down CTRL and launch Designer 2 whilst still holding CTRL
  3. A 'Clear user data' menu will appear, tick 'Reset brushes' and then press 'Clear'
  4. Try editing any of the pixel brushes again.

If it's still crashing, could you send me a few recent crash reports after encountering the issue? The FAQ linked below details how to find these.

Many thanks!
