Hi there,

I have the problem that I cannot export my work in Designer v2 (version 2.1.0) as a PNG with transparent background. I can set the background color to none in the options of the export persona but in the exporting dialog the background has always a color. Clicking on no background is not be taken over. I am pretty shure it worked in an earlier release of v2.

Same file and same workflow works well in Designer v1.

Welcome to the forums @VPR

I can export a document with a transparent background to a PNG with a transparent background in Designer 2.1 via the Export Persona but I’m not entirely sure what your workflow is.

For instance, you say that you “set the background color to none in the options of the export persona” but I don’t see an option for that when exporting PNGs.

Also, you say “but in the exporting dialog the background has always a color” which sounds to me like you are not using the Export Persona - the export dialog is a different thing to the Export Persona.

Also, in the sentence “Clicking on no background is not be taken over.”, I don’t know what you mean by something called “no background” which is clickable.

Can you give us a full-screen screenshot showing the application at the point just before you export and tell us what button you are clicking to achieve the export?

If you can also supply the document then that should help.

@lepr Thank you very much for that post. That is exactly the problem. So this issue is answered for me.

@GarryP Thank you also for your post

If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
