For Mac just do command/shift/5 and it will record the screen

I'm also experiencing this problem, which is very annoying as I now have to screenshot what I want to sample a color from outside the Affinity apps and paste it to Affinity in order to be able to sample the color.

Does anyone have a fix?

Sample color outside ui shows R:255 G:255 B:255.

Hmm. This was first reported in September '23. It's May 2024, and it's still not fixed?? Serif needs to address this: Fix it or explain why it's unfixable.

I’m having the exact same problem. The sad part is that it’s been more than a year and no one from Serif has given an answer.
I’ve tried all suggestions and recommendations without any positive results.

I’m using Affinity Designer and Photo 2.5.3 with Sequoia OS, but the problem started way back since 2.2 in Ventura and Sonoma.

I totally love the Affinity suite but this and other issues are pushing me back to Adobe. 😞
