  1. Guess what? It worked! I changed the FAT from exFAT to APFS and that fixed the conflict. I can't thank you enough for the suggestion. I hope this thread helps other users with the same problem.
  2. Thanks, Ashf, that is precisely what I have been doing to dodge the problem. I guess the sistema file of the drive might just be the problem as you mention it. I'll google the fix for my FAT 😃
  3. Oh my gosh, this has been going on for over two years. I started having the same problem after upgrading my Mac to Ventura 13. So, I'm doomed, LOL! Anyway, I hope Serif finds a solution for this problem. I'm getting the same problem on both Photo and Designer.
  4. I solved it by finding the latest backup of my Assets library not on my machine, but on Google Drive. I was trying to import assets from my external drive and failing to do the import, as many of You may be finding out… macOS newest operating Sistem: Ventura 13 and Serif products, are not getting along two well regarding external drive backups negotiations between devices. If, you have a backup in the cloud, your problem is solved.
  5. Same here, almost similar configuration of system (24" iMAC Apple M1 chip, 8-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16 GB unified memory, 1 TB SSD storage, Big Sur v. 11.7. Affinity Photo 1.10.5, Affinity Publisher 1.10.5, Affinity Designer 1.10.5 Mac-Mini 2020, -Apple M1- chip, 16GB unified memory, 256GB SSD storage, Big Sur v. 11.7. Affinity Publisher 1.10.5, Affinity Photo 1.10.5, ) except the OS which is Ventura 13.
  6. I'm a developer, so I can relate to the complexities of developing and maintaining software. That said, I hope they find a solution to the issue ASAP. Best regards.
  7. Thank You Patrick, I Love Affinity, so I preferred to keep using it in another platform instead of going back to other software, I really tried to make it work on my Lenovo machine. I'll do whatever it takes to keep working smoothly. Thank You for removing the other people arguments. You are genuinely nice.
  8. I left Windows after trying to roll back to Windows 10. I changed Windows for a Mac Mini with 16GB of RAM and I am happy to say that there are no problems in Affinity on Mac. It is a problem with Windows or with Intel. In a way, I prefer to spend a couple of hundred dollars than to loose clients.
  9. Sorry about that, I've trayed a, 2, 3, 4 all the way to 8 and no positive effect.... I formatted my machine for a full clean install of all drivers and apps, and guess what? less than a minute doing normal stuff it crashed. So, I'm bailing out. As I said, I'm going to wait for the next big upgrade. Unfortunately, my customers can't wait for me to find a fix to this issue. Thank You for your valuable time.
  10. Sorry Chris B, yes, I have the latest driver from intel. So, I guess that means I got to go back to Adobe after 3 years 😞 I reinstalled CC again and PS is giving me no problems for the moment, so I'll keep waiting for Serif to fix whatever is there that apparently is not, but it is. I'm not leaving Affinity forever that's for sure, I'll just hibernate Affinity software for a couple of versions, I really hope a fix comes out some time soon… like in the near, near, near future. Wonderful software indeed.
  11. Thank You for your reply, Hens. DESKTOP-DALT6KJ Windows 11 Home Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz 8GB RAM 64 bits processor 250 GB SSD 1 TB Standard Disc Unit I work 100% locally and do have hardware acceleration of I save all my work on the internal secondary mechanical unit (D drive)
  12. Sad to say, not even this version is working for me. No matter what I'm doing, applying a smart filter, moving a layer, loading text... it crashes, freezes completely. I'm losing a customer due to the delay on the delivery of a design... It's been a nightmare. I've followed all suggestions and nothing semes to work. Please, please, please help!!! I've got 5 licenses and all tree Aps, and all are failing since 1.9 all the way to 1.10.2
  13. Same problem here and it's sad... nobody semes to care.
  14. I have, sorry for the typo... It is in 1.10.1.1142 that everything is failing.
  15. I waited for too long now, at first it was Photo ever since 1.8 Affinity photo started crashing too often, in 1.9 it got worse and 1.10.1.1142 worsen. Not only photo but designer freezes as soon as I move a layer on the layer panel or applying a filter. I really love Affinity products for its ease of use, but it's starting to hit me hard on delivery times. I'm rolling back to Adobe, I'm terribly sorry, I honestly hate to do this. Thank You Affinity, it was formidable while it lasted.
  16. But You can export as PDF and convert that PDF to HTML5. There are lots of services that do this, for example: https://www.pdftohtml.net/
  17. A lot of experts here will say that designer is the better choice, and I agree with the recommendation. Just consider that within publisher you can jump between Publisher & Designer with ease, and if You need to edit image you can jump between Publisher & Photo with a single click without leaving Publisher multipage advantage. Of course, you need to have the 3 apps in Your possession to be able to create such an effective production environment, but let's face it. So in my humble opinion, Publisher (and at least Affinity Photo) will give You all and more than you require to get the job done.
  18. I'm still having crush problems when using smart filters. or medium complexity projects. Even withs this latest version 1.10.1
