Unable to use Smooth option from the toolbar

• What is your operating system and version (Windows 11, OSX Ventura, iOS 16 etc)? 

iPadOS 16.5 (20F66) / Designer 2.1

•    Is hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) ON or OFF ? (and have you tried the other setting?)

Where can I find that option?

•    What happened for you (and what you expected to happen)

I am testing the Toolbar options and I cannot use the Smooth one, when using the Node tool, because the three dots from iOS (multitasking) take precedence. What to do here?

•    Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did).

•    Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers.

Stage Manager is not supported by the Affinity apps, so I'm afraid this is not a bug.

Until Stage Manager is supported:

• Often, if I'm very careful, I can find a place to click/tap that will work, even with the Stage Manager ... icon displayed.
• Other than that: turn off Stage Manager.
