GOTSpectrum Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 (edited) So heres the thing, I'm very used to using drawplus, yes it's very old so thought I would upgrade, the issue is... this seems like it is missing features. Like how would I make a gradient like this in the new software? This was made in drawplus and the gradient options seem very limited Edited May 15, 2023 by GOTSpectrum Quote
GarryP Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Welcome to the forums @GOTSpectrum Have you looked at the Gradient Tool (alternatively called the Fill Tool in Designer and Publisher). There is also the Gradient Overlay Effect. And probably others. The best tool/technique will be dependant upon how your design is constructed and whether you need a vector output or not. Also, we need to know which Affinity application you are using. If you can share the document with us then we can advise further. If you cannot share the document then an image showing us the design and the Layers Panel may be of some use (full-screen screen shots are usually better than smaller screen-grabs). If you cannot do that then a good description of how the design has been constructed might be useful. Quote
Komatös Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 (edited) May I ask what software you are writing about? Affinity Photo or Affinity Designer? Here is an example of filling with gradient in Affinity Designer.
