You can add assets to a category that you've selected, but the only place in the user interface that Import is used for assets is when you're importing a complete category from the file system. Are you saying that you can't change Asset categories at all? Or, can you clarify what you mean, and perhaps provide a screen recording of the problem? SoCuul Posted May 7 Author Share Posted May 7 Ah, let me explain it better haha. I’m adding assets (drag and drop) to a sub-category in the assets panel. When the asset appears in the panel (after I dropped it into it), the drop-down menu to select the main category gets greyed out. You may be experiencing a delay while the application ensures that all 3 Affinity V2 applications are updated, especially if you have a lot of Assets installed. How long have you waited to see if the application would begin responding again? I suggest waiting at least several minutes.
