JessBundy Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 I'm sure I used to be able to select text then select a number in the toolbar and it changed line spacing. Now that doesn't do anything. Maybe it's not the right thing to select anymore? How do I change line spacing in a paragraph? I looked up help docs and couldn't find line spacing. In general I'm not enjoying using Affinity 2, as an amateur graphic designer I find I'm much slower to do things than I was using version 1. Quote
walt.farrell Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 The Paragraph panel has a Leading setting in V2, just as in V1. And the Character panel (and, I think) the Context Toolbar have a Leading Override just as in V1. A common reason for a leading adjustment not working is that the document, or the Text Frame, or the Paragraph Panel, or the Paragraph Text Style, has the Baseline Grid enabled. With the Baseline Grid enabled, only leading changes that are a multiple of the grid size or larger would be effective.
