May I ask what is the correct procedure when reporting a software bug that has already been discussed elsewhere in the forum? Is it okay to report it again here or to inquire if there is a chance to solve the problem? Specifically, the problem is that the closing quotation mark (typographically incorrect) slips into the next line. The problem is very annoying, as the smallest changes in longer paragraphs force a constant check of all subsequent line endings.

With Publisher beta 2.1.0.1742 / macOS Ventura 13.3.1 the problem still occurs. The problem has already been addressed here.

Please just delete the post if it is not right here.

Ich hoffe, ich erlebe es noch, dass die deutschen Anführungszeichen in Affinity Publisher korrekt funktionieren.

There is some guidance at the top of this forum:

As your problem is not new to the 2.1 beta, and not (as far as I know) related to the new function in 2.1, it should be discussed in the regular part of the forum.

Beyond that, as it has already been reported there, it would be good to continue the discussion in the existing report if the problem is the same.
