Affinity Photo 2 Product Key to unlock Affinty Photo 1

I have a MacBook Pro running macOS 10.13 High Sierra (which can't be upgraded any further) and I would like to use Affinity Photo. Affinity Photo 2 will not work on my Mac. I have downloaded Affinity Photo 1 from your website and have started my 10 Day trial. If I purchase Affinity Photo 2 can I use the same Product Key to activate Affinity Photo 1.

Unfortunately we are not able to provide new V1 licenses I'm afraid. It would not be possible to unlock a V1 program using a V2 license.
