Hi there,

I've logged on to AP tonight and my brushes panel is empty. I've tried changing the interface, resetting the brushes in preferences, deleting and reinstalling the software. No sign of my brushes. Any suggestions?

You have two solutions that I know of:

  1. Delete your raster_brushes.propcol file, and let Photo 2 recreate it. This will reset the raster brushes in both Photo 2 and Designer 2 (if you have it).
  2. Do a more complete Reset of the brushes, by pressing/holding Ctrl while you start the application. Note that if you do this you will reset both the vector brushes in Designer 2 (if you have it) and the raster brushes in Photo 2 and Designer 2.

For approach 1, this FAQ will help you locate the raster_brushes.propcol file.

For approach 2: If you get a Mac system menu when you click to start the application while holding Ctrl, keep holding Ctrl and click Open. Release Ctrl when you get the Clear User Data dialog. Unselect everything, and select Reset Brushes.
