melonbird Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 This just started happening today. When I open any photograph in Photo Persona, it looks normal, like this stock photo below (screenshot from my Mac). In the past, switching to Developer Persona didn't change anything (until I changed settings, of course), but now it's dumping lots of yellow all over the photos. This is with every photo I've tried. The only recent change is that I accidentally shut some of the toolbars and Studio settings I like to keep open, so I turned them back on. But that was several days ago, and it's been working normally since then. Until today. Any ideas what's wrong or how to fix it? Quote
melonbird Posted April 11, 2023 Author Posted April 11, 2023 To add info, I thought I'd make sure I'm using the latest version. I'm apparently on v. 1.10.6 and getting no prompts to update. Is that the latest version? Quote
NotMyFault Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 You have „toggle clipped tones“ active. This shows as yellow overlay color tones who could get clipped. https://affinity.help/photo2/en-US.lproj/pages/Raw/raw.html Show Clipping An incorrect level of exposure within an image can lead to pixels 'falling out' of the viewable intensity range. This results in the loss of detail in areas of shadow, highlights, or midtones and is known as clipping. In Develop Persona, you have the ability to display Clipped Shadows, Clipped Highlights and/or Clipped Tones directly on the image. This can help you identify areas which need correcting as well as preventing overenthusiastic modifications which result in clipping. The Develop Persona remembers your choices for these options from the last time you used it, even when editing a different photo. melonbird Posted April 11, 2023 Author Posted April 11, 2023 Thank you! I must have clicked that button accidentally. Quote
