I had a strange issue where attempting to create or load a file would cause the entire system to slow to a crawl and crash the software. I was able to diagnose this issue to be as a result of setting my monitor to 240hz. Reverting the monitor back to 120hz and the problem disappeared.

I did a reset of all the software while in 240hz and this did not resolve the issue. This crash happened in Photo 2 and Publisher 2 as well.

CPU: Ryzen 5900x

GPU: 4090 FE

Monitor: Odyssey G9 (gen 1)

32GB of RAM

Windows 10, Version: 22H2, OS build 19045.2728

Not sure if this was a one off, if my GPU drivers were just a little out of date, or if there's something else going on. Don't need a resolution, as I am happy with 120Hz, but wanted to share if others run into it.

Cheers!

Hi bruby,

This is obviously not the easiest thing to test, but if you'd be willing to see if this persists on an updated driver at 240hz we could then follow this up.
