I am not sure if others are having this specific issue but Designer 2 (beta version) is Lagging so bad it's made me lose work.  In this case i decided to undo several steps to redo a part of my art.  The lag was so bad i kept hitting ctrl Z to undo steps thinking it wasn't working for some reason.  about 1 min later it undid more steps than I thought and I was unable to get the work back making me lose several minutes of progress.  Is there a fix to how designer many times takes time to respond to your last command and in this case more than a few seconds?

I don't think it's my machine, i have a Ryzen 12 core 5900 3.7 ghz, RTX 3070, and 48 gb ram.  Running Windows 10.  I have hardware acceleration turned on, but I have tried turning off also and same issue.  lowered the buffer for undos and have a good chunk of memory (30720 mb)

Please help, as I love using designer but it's a struggle at times and very slow because of the performance issues

Hi s4ndm4n2006,

Unfortunately we're aware of some issues AMD users with regards to performance and are currently working with AMD to improve this. However to help, would it be possible for you to send a little bit more info please?

Are you able to get a screen recording showing the lagging behaviour you're getting when Undoing/Redoing, and also attach a copy of the document that is exhibiting this.

On top of that could you save a copy of your System Information please?

To do that:

  1. Go to the Start Menu and search for 'System Information' and open that application up.
  2. In the application go to File > Save
  3. Navigate to a directory you wish to save to and give it a filename and save
  4. Note this may take a few minutes, but should result in a *.nfo file

Once you have all three of these (the NFO, Recording and document) could you attach them to our internal Dropbox account using the location below please?

Thank you!
