Pinhas Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 The hyperlinks are not working well in Publisher 2. I've done this in V1 without problems, but in V2 it doesn't work. I put the hyperlink correctly, but when exporting to PDF the link is generated incorrectly and puts additional characters, making the link not work. See the file please. walt.farrell Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Thanks for the files. In looking at the first one (Mr. Fill ...), I see that page 15 has text that reads www.gaspar.com.pt but in looking at the Hyperlinks panel, what you actually have is: A Hyperlink on www that points to http://www.gaspar.com.pt and A Hyperlink on .gaspar.com.pt that also points to http://www.gaspar.com.pt If I combine those into 1 Hyperlink over the complete text string, the generated link in the PDF is correct. I have no idea why that construct in your text gave those results, but it's an odd way to build a Hyperlink. For the other one, with File links: It's not even possible to begin to look at that one without: Having at least one of the source files you're linking to; and Knowing the directory structure on your machine; and Knowing the directory structure on the machine where the PDF will be used; and Seeing the directory structure after the Export (e.g., screenshot of Finder or File Explorer); and Knowing what PDF viewer you (and anyone viewing the PDF) will be using. Linking to Files is very tricky. Pinhas Posted April 10, 2023 Author Posted April 10, 2023 Hello Walt, Thanks for the first one. I don't know what happened and why the links were created that way. I must have done something without noticing. The important thing is that it's working Quote
