Affinity Publisher V2 crashes when I will print

Hello,

working with Affinity Publisher 2.04 desktop Windows 10. Whenever I want to print out of Affinity Publisher the app crashes and I have to start it again. But I never can print.

Have you an idea to solve this problem?

Do you get any APub crash reports which might tell or give a hint for the cause?

Other than that try to export as PDF and then to print from that via Acrobat Reader, MS Edge ... or the like.

Sorry I had problems to follow this instructions. Possibly my PC is german.
I extract the information to a word-document. I hope this is helpful to you.

Tja, der Absturz erfolgte durch eine unbehandelte Fehler-Ausnahme, sprich es erfolgte eine Null-Referenz (ein Objekt hat den Inhalt NULL wo stattdessen Objekt-Werte erwartet wurden) bei dem Versuch die Druckparameter zu ermitteln und dies wird im Code nicht abgefangen (aka was passiert bzw. machen wir wenn das Objekt anstatt erwarteter Werte stattdessen NULL ist). Das Ganze erfolgte in der .NET Runtime.

Hier müssen die Affinity-Entwickler via Debugging nachschauen warum dann im Code keine Druckparameter an der Stelle zurückgegeben wurden. - Ich gehe einmal davon aus das Dein Drucker (Lexmark?) und dessen Treiber unter Windows korrekt installiert sind und dass Du von anderen Anwendungen heraus problemlos ausdrucken kannst?

Wie gesagt da mußt Du u.U. ein Bug-Ticket für einstellen unter der Forumsrubrik "Publisher 2 Bugs found on Windows" (sofern es dort nicht bereits eines gibt)!

Hi lexmark, 

Could you please try launching the app using control and reset the top 3 options (default). 

It may be worth checking for printer updates/reinstalling printer drivers.
