Saving a .PSD file using Cmd-S. Mac 13.3

Recommended Posts

Using latest 2.1.0.1736.

I had processed a .RAF file in ACR and exported as a .PSD.

Opened fine in AP Beta. Got dialog saying a new beta available. Agreed to download and install. No problems.

The .PSD I initially opened before downloading the new beta was still open so I futzed with it a bit. Then hit Cmd-S. I got the save as an .afphoto dialog but immediately got spinning beach ball. Cmd-Opt-Esc told me the app was not responding.

So force quit and then reopened and whatever dialog that comes up - Saved Emergency Version or something and I opened it fine and tried to do the same Cmd-S to save as .afphoto.. Same result, program crashed.

Opened it all again (same crashed version restored) and this time did a Menu/Save-As and let the default be .afphoto and it saved fine - in fact rickety-split. No time thermometer, just bang! Saved!

Just tried it again with a new .PSD file and with Cmd.S - crash bang wallop. But using Menu/Save-As worked fine. Attaching the first .PSD file. t-shirt 1.psd

Y'all are doing great. Keep it up :)
