Affinity Designer 1 for iPad “no longer shared”

Recommended Posts

Much to my surprise, when I attempted to open the Affinity Designer 1 app on my iPad I was told that I was no longer authorized and that I must purchase in the App Store. When I follow the link to the App store, I am told it doesn’t exist. Everything I have read says that I was to keep access to the app that I paid for.

The V1 iPad/Mac versions have been removed from the Store, but if you've bought them previously they'll still be within your applications and you can still access them from your account. Here's an article with more information.

It's also worth noting that if you've changed the region in your Apple Store account since you purchased V1, you may not see the V1 apps listed in your account until you switch back to the region you had set when you originally purchased the apps. More information can be found here.
