Things
Hello, I'm trying to export an image to use as email signature, but I realised that there seems to not be an otpion to see the html code like with photoshop, is there one that I can't find or some kind of alternative? For reference it's this method but with affinity, I have all three softwares so if there is an alternative in another of the affinity software
v_kyr
NO, Affinity apps don't export/generate any HTML code. - You would have either to export a signature entirely as SVG (XML) generated code (as far as your Email-Client can deal with that inside an own made HTML wrapper), or you have to export a drawn up signature entirely as an bitmap image. Thanks, I have it as an af design file that I made, what would be the best way to do it? And can I do it on my own even if I have a pretty basic understanding of htm css etc or should I just sak them if they have a programmer that can do it? Doing an internship in a small company right now so there aren't many expectations on me but i'd still prefer to do it on my own if i can

Don't know how your basic knowledge about HTML/CSS/SVG etc. is at all (your skills). Also as said before, it also highly depends on the Email-Client app you want to use the signature in and then it's overall capabilities here in terms of adding/reusing HTML+SVG signatures. The easiest (a no brainer) is of course adding just a PNG/JPG bitmap file, which already contains the whole stuff (personal image + contact text), as/into a signature part. - For SVG you would export as SVG code from ADe and then reuse the SVG per dependent Email-Client signature handling. For example for MS 365 Outlook, take a look at ... Use SVG in signature Add a vectorial SVG picture in Outlook signature ... etc. Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.
henryanthony
@Things If you watch the video that you sent a link to, pause it and zoom in to see the HTML code. You will see things (tags) like <HTML>, <HEAD>, <BODY>, <STYLE>, <TABLE>, <TR>, <TD>, <IMG>, <A>. You are going to have to learn about the syntax and attributes of these tags and more. Actually it's pretty simple if taken one chunk at a time. If you want to do this on your own, you are going to have to learn some basic HTML and it is not that hard. Head on over to https://www.w3schools.com/html/ and dive in. This site has everything you need to do what you want. The email signature you want to create is a simple HTML table that includes text, images and links. All you need is a simple text editor to write HTML. Any formatting is to aid in the reading of the mark up and has nothing to do with the functioning of the code in a browser. Good luck! Quote Affinity Photo and Design V1. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.
